sound clip of my 66 before.... how to get it sounding like this again?
heres a sound clip of my 350 in my 66 before the tear down. i know it would be hard to tell by the sound but did it have a stock cam? ive decided i want to go back to the cam that was in it. can i tell by the cam? any numbers or anything on the cam? the one i pulled out is in the shop.
thanks, John http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm...1397977902.wma

I didn't listen to it , but comp cams makes one called the thumper, It sounds like a radically cammed stock car, but performs like a normal cam, I also noticed that the grind of the thumper is almost exactly the same as a magazine project 400hp 383.

have to agree with Bishop, sound like stock cam to me. I'm no ultra mechanic but usually hard to mistake a performance cam from a stock one

Thumper cam sounds cool!
In the chassis dyno vid, looks like they almost loose the truck at the end. |

Sounds stock to me also... The exhaust seems to be making the most difference. Mild cam seems to have a lot less idle to it.
