fender difference?
is there a difference betewwn a 75 front fender and a 79??

According to lmc there isn't. If you are talking factory equipment I believe the early 73,4,5 fenders were made out of slightly heavier metal even though I haven't read it anywhere. Maybe they just feel heavier to me.

I dont know about the metal but the shape is the same the only other differance in body panels would be the hood

yes the hood got that little ridge on the front in 78 and kept it till they changed fenders.

They will both fit with no modifications needed, however, the older fenders had more mounting holes on them where they bolt to the core support. I have a late 70's right fender on my 73, and it had 2 less mounting oles IIRC.
