Electric window motor install
anyone know how big of a chore it is to install new motors for the electric windows on an 86?

its not to bad if you have skinny arms it make it easier, there is 3 bolts holding the motor, but I have spot cut out for a speaker so it made it alot easier

I changed both of mine in my 85 in less that 45 minutes. Not to bad, just stay calm and use your head.

Yup...i just put a new motor and regulator in my truck and it took about 40 mins...it was my first time, next time around it should take half that. Unfortunately next time around is going to happen sooner then i would like seeing how the "new" (from the junkyard) motor is toast.
