Anybody do CNC Machining
I'm looking to have a custom bracket made up (flat aluminum) to hold a remote thermostat housing. I could do it myself with shop tools but think a CNC produced bracket would look better. I don't have the specs right now, I'm just trying to find out if anyone out there has access to someone who can do small CNC projects.

Hey Lee,
I do CNC machining. Let me know what you need, and I'll see what I can do. Tim |

Sounds cool, just let me know. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like your example before. That is one sweet looking engine.

Thanks Tim, that's not mine, it's one a guy over on a hemi forum pointed me to. Mine is going to look more stock looking (cleaner).

As high as that sits, you will be much better off to run stiffeners from the upper end down to the front bolts on the intake. As it is, I can see problems with the water pump bolts due the all the leverage (moment arm).
If you have holes in your head (I do ) you could use them. Having another attach point, either above or below will help a lot with reducing loads and vibration.
