Question Xenon headlight conversion

I have been thinking about getting a conversion kit from Midnight Moose.Seems like I read in a post a loooong while back in CT,that the current was too high for the wiring on our trucks.I was wondering if anyone who has one of these kits, has ran into any problems or had to do any mods to make it work.

I haven't had any trouble, but of course I only have single headlights. I really not sure what was going wrong, unless they had the lights wired to make all four burn when they were on bright. If this is the case, maybe I could see how this might happen.

Anyway, I'm happy with mine.

Mike:

Did you have to change out the connector to the bulb or are they the same?

Used my stock wiring and plug. Just like change regular headlight lenses.

Mike can you post a picture of your headlights up close? I want to see how they look compared to the diamond back type.

Thanks!

THEY ARE AWESOME!!!
All I can say is do it!!
The only thing you might have to mess with, which I will is they have mis wired some of them so that the ground is not in the correct position.....that is what their tech support says. I just havent taken them out yet. I did take pics of them at night and they are easily 100% brighter and very white/blueish in color. Everyone notices them.

imho...cant go wrong with them.

And no wire problems...I think that Crimson might have a bad wire or something in his system that he was having problems with.

:edit....I just havent looked at the pics on the computer to see if they are worthy of posting yet.... I need to just go buy a digicam huh. hahhaa.

A friend of mine has the conversion kit said it was easy, and made his lights about 3 times brighter.
