1950 GMC 1ton wants a V8

Hey guys I want to put a V8 in my 1 ton but want to keep the truck stock looking with the stock 4 spped and clutch brake in the floor set up. I know i need to change the tranny X member and bell i got them the mounts ill just have to order. Now the brake pedal has me thinking its going to hit the back of the motor? i know someone has done this and knows how to make it look right so pic notes in Mid Missouri with a truck like this i can look at coffe or beer is on me?
