Big block headers
Here is a question for all you big block guys. Has anyone tried block hugger headers. Summit has a set of coated block huggers for just under 200 bucks. They look like they might fit on the drivers side and clear the stock clutch linkage. Here is a pic. See what you guys think.

Re: Big block headers
I tried several types and none fit. If these are new then maybe they will work. But I had no luck.

Re: Big block headers
NF65Fleetside, I bought a set of those from Summit. They fit great if you have an automatic transmission. I'm running a Muncie M21 4 speed. The problem is the stock clutch linkage. The #5 and #7 header tubes are in the way. I new this when i ordered the headers. I'm either going to modify the clutch linkage or cut and modify the header tubes. If the block huggers will clear, i will use them. The passenger side block hugger looks like it might hit the motor mount. The driver side looks like it will work.
