Layed out on 22's...hood hinges?!!!
So.....we're are currently layin out a 71 c10 on 22's, question is, i know you can't use factory hood hinges, so what are you guys using? building your own, or doesn someone make something just for this application? i've seen a few custom ones, but can't really find too much info......

I used Sasches on mine and if you dont use gas shocks they suck. There real shakey.

wow.....thanks for all the info....keep it coming, i've bagged quite a few vehicles, but they've mostly been s10's, a few imports and later model fullsize's......i think she's coming along nicely!

XXL- How happy are you with your hood hinges after using them for a while? I am not sure I like my forward tilt after finishing it...
I saw a super clean truck at Goodguy's with the Sasche hinges that had some pretty severe stress cracks in the paint around them from the firewall flexing. Yours look like they would be a little sturdier mounted on the cowl. Thanks -Chris
