c-notch question

can anyone tell me how deep the cpp c-notch is and how much maximum clearance can i expect to get ? is it necessary to use the c-notch bumpstops or can I eleminate them for more drop when its aired out?

You can eliminate the supplied bumpstops but then the lowest item that causes interference will will usually be the thing that limits travel (which is typically the rear pumkin meeting the bed floor).

The CPP notch allows for 3" additional clearance vs. the original lower portion of the frame rail.

Hey thanks for the info scotti that measurment is exactly what i needed to know.
the research ive done points to the cpp notch as being the one of choice around here for quality,fit, price. is this still the case?

I put CPP's c notches in my truck a while back, they fit really good, i also took my bump stops out for that extra 1/2 inch

thanks for your input scotts62, im gonna be notching and putting in rear bags as the first phase of my project.

Thats cool, Are you doing a custom setup or are you putting bags on trailing arms?

The fit is good but not perfect. Definitely close enough for what they cost.
