Hey guys.
![]() ![]() I am getting ready to build my 1972 C-10. It's a long bed truck with a 307 ci chevy and a three speed manual trans. I'm building a stout 427 big block. ![]() I want to keep it a manual trans truck, and don't plan on beating on it (too much) I just want a good looking and sounding truck. I have heard that you can use a 5 speed out of a late 80's blazer with the 4.3 V-6 engine. I need all the information I can get about engine swaps, headers, transmissions, and whatever anyone else can think of. ![]() Thanks for a great website for all of us gearheads!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: Really could use some help....
Use a nv4500 out of a full size that should handle the power easy enough. The swap is not bad to do either.
