42 rearend
i am building a 42' chevy and am going to use a mustang II frontend but what rear should i use? and has anyone put a 4.3 into one of these trucks i have been looking for awhile on this site figured i'd ask now thanks

Installing a 4.3?
I hope you mean an L99 4.3L V8 (they were used in 1994-96 Caprice). They're the same block as the LT1 Corvette engine but with a smaller displacement, reverse flow cooling, cast iron heads, etc. Decent power and gas mileage....bolts right up to a 700R4. |
