step side fenders
Is there a special tool to take step side fenders off the bed?Or what is the best way to take them off?--Thanks

They are just bolted on, but they use clutch head bolts. You can get clutch head screw drivers at Sears, but these days they might not keep them in stock.

I think I picked up my last ones at Ace hardware. You should also be able to get them at Sears but may have to order them. You should be able to find some bits that you can put in the adapter and use on a small ratchet.
Snap-On has some nice ones but they are a bit spendy. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item....re&dir=catalog Also get up under the fenders and spray some PB blaster on the nuts after you brush them and the head of the screw/bolt off with a wire brush first.
