Cardboard Gas Tank Cover
I just purchased a gas tank cover to replace the one which was in there. It was pretty well deteriorated. It came in without crease marks to mark the folds. If anyone has dimensions or pics I would appreciate it. By the way I trashed the old one about 3 years ago.

Re: Cardboard Gas Tank Cover
hmm.. mine never had one, but i was considering making one myself anyway. I was going to put some speaker material over it. I say just go for it and bend to fit.

here is what the interior guy made for my truck. It is foam back carpet, works really good cause you don't hear the tank at all. I am sure you could make something similiar. |

Re: Cardboard Gas Tank Cover
Just an update. I was replacing the gas tank because the old one sprung a leak while it was sitting in the garage with our gas water heater. Here are some pics:

Re: Cardboard Gas Tank Cover
looks good, those tabs should stick up inbetween the inner and outer cab.
