Re: I wanna start what I dont see in these forum.
This has been brought up before. Several of us asked about this and I don't remember why a build thread wasn't started for the 73-87s. Maybe if we all ask the powers that be again it will happen. It would be nice if we had our own build thread like the 67-72 guys! So how about it guys? Can we have our own build thread? ...Joe

I'll post up projects when I get more 73-87's in my garage...
If someone wants to volunteer their truck... Current project: Making the newer door panels on my truck look like the older door panels from the old system. From this; To something like this;

Re: I wanna start what I dont see in these forum.
ive been a volunteer here for over a year and i started this back then.. the powers that be here from our moderators to the owners of the board have said that they dont feel there is enough people who would post in that section for it to be warranted, In fact at one time i had even taken a poll here as to the opinions of the members here whether they wanted that particular section, and i was told there wasnt enough call then.Ken , the moderator of this thread, does his weekly thread "what did you get done --/--/-- edition" so that owners of our genre can post what we did to our trucks that particular week.
I personally would love to see such a section, as it would be cool to archive everything done to a members in one spot, but until enough interest is generated by the members here , it looks like it is not going to happen.

Re: I wanna start what I dont see in these forum.
As Bob stated it was brought up and discussed at length. The general consensus was there would not be enough activity to create yet another sub-forum. We get complaints now that there are too many sub-forums.
Please understand that the sub-forum in the 67-72 area wasn't one of those "build it and they will come" sections. It was created to clean up the vast amount of build threads that already existed. If you want a 73-87 project and/or build sub-forum, then show that is warranted. Start a "Show me your projects/builds" post and lets see how much activity it gets. If it stays active, then creating a sub-forum "might" be considered....

Re: I wanna start what I dont see in these forum.
Thanks guys, I thought I would sound dumb by asking but I took a shot at it now we just have to give it some serious traffic. Thanks moderators. I think that it only helps us to see what and how others are doing certain things to their trucks. Some of us need visuals rather than just reading about. That's what makes it a great site.

Re: I wanna start what I dont see in these forum.
Then start one. Really, all you need to do is start your own build thread. When you make updates, add them to your thread.
