72' Stepside 2 1/2 Rockwell Pond Truck
Cab Floor Repair lots of it. i am building one bad 1972. i bought this truck for 400.00. it ran pretty good. 307ci with a th350 tranny, long bed, no air, no power steering, perfect just what i was looking for. i sold the tranny for 150.00, the rearend for 150.00, the bed for 150.00. i gave the 307 to a friend. this is all after my 10 year old had the motor sitting on it's side from jumping it out of the retention pond behind the shop. a friend gave me a short wheel 4x4 frame. i am using a step bed off of a nother parts truck.

the cab in this project was a little worse than i thought at first. it had never had any paint work done to it so i new there would be no surprises. but there was. after i had spent the money to have it media blasted i felt oblegated to us it.

Re: 72' Stepside 2 1/2 Rockwell Pond Truck
My Plans For The Truck Are To Trailer It To Weekly Mud Boggs Around The Area That I Live In No. Fl. Some Of The Biggest Baddest Trucks Are In Fl. That Is Probably Because Of The Sheer Number Of Events Through Out The Year. I Am Going To Paint The Inside Of The Cab Orange And The Roof Orange. Maybe The The Inner Fenders, Radiator Support, And Hood Hinges. But The Rest Of The Out Side Will Be The Pepper Gray That You See On The Differentials. I Have Chrome Door Panels, Glove Box Door, Insturment Panel, (which Is Stuffed With Autometer Liquid Filled Gauges). A Through The Dash 4 Point Cage, Bucket Seats, Cheetah Scs Shifter, I'll Put Up A Picture Of My Home Made Double Stick Transfer Case Shifters When I Get Them Back From The Chromer. There Bad, A Little Idea I Got From A Friend That Makes Ornimental Gates And Fence. The Column Is From A Stick Shift Truck. I Am Looking For A Billet Steering Wheel That Has Two Crossed Pistols In The Middle. The Only Real Body Mods Are Filled In Gas Filler Hole In Left Cab Corner, Smothed Cowl Panel (to Keep Out Mud), Filled Fresh Air Vents In Kick Panels, I Also Cut Out The Area In The Dash That Was Set In For The Radio, Made That Smooth. I Have Tsl Boggers On It To Roll Around I Also Have A New Set Of 18.4-16.1 American Farmer R1 V Treads. The Funny Thing About Them Is There Made In China. They Are 47 Inches Tall.

Re: 72' Stepside 2 1/2 Rockwell Pond Truck
I want tractor tires like that but the ones that are 36in od and whats with newer trucks build like that. Can u drive them on the street? And I think those 44 boggers look pretty small with your suspension being so big, like my uncles ford with his 54s as seen
Forgot to say the rockers mess up at 50 miles, and it took a few days to fix. so hes been trying to sell it to buy a chevy!
