Re: Let's see your Burbs!
Cool man, welcome to the Burb Club!
Is that a Chevy or GMC? Mines a Gmc with a Chevy front cap. I'm looking for a GMC cap if you know of one. Congrats again! |

Here's my 52 GMC. Sports a 302, backed by a T-5, with 68 truck axle, 3.73. Stock springs so far.

Re: Let's see your Burbs!
Here are a couple of shots of my buddy Mike's 51 Burb. We have started doing some floor work. Then brakes and engine I think is the plan.

Re: Let's see your Burbs!
By "Cap" I take you are referring to the front clip and hood, otherwise also known as the "doghouse". I think I am going to have to keep mine. I like the fact that the GMC sets it apart from Chevies. I really like the Chevies too though. I had a 49 till a coup[el of years ago and I sold it. Bad Move! There is a guy down in Rosehill ,Kansas that may have a front clip for a GMC. I got a card for around here somewhere. I will look for it and maybe you can give him a call. Rosehill is southeast of Wichita, Ks. a bit. You will need the core support and a GMC cross member to make it work.

Re: Let's see your Burbs!
Just for the sake of saying it..
James, you don't need all that stuff. All I changed when I built your burb was the hood, latching pan, grille, and bumper filler. I never changed the core support. I made the lower mounts, but it should be a easy change back.

Re: Let's see your Burbs!
I would have to say this is the guy to talk to. I forgot he was the original(previous) owner of that particular Burb. Good Luck with it anyway!
