tires?
hey guys, looking for some new tires for my truck.
its going to be a real daily driver, but i want the tires to have at least a little bite when i go in a strait line. something in the neghborhood of a 28 inch tire, about 12.5 inches wide and 15 inch rim. I was looking at some BF goodrich Radial T/A's... are those any good? what other tires would you recomend?

Re: tires?
The bfg t/a radials have a wear number in the mid 400s . General grabbers are like 360 . A true drag radial will be in the 40 to 50 range . Nitto drag radials are 100 wear . Unless you buy a drag radial most true radials are going to be in the 300 or above range . Hankook makes a tire that is in the 200 wear range and is R rated . Might check into those . Might not be avalible in 15" though .

Re: tires?
I have a set of M/T Drag Radials but they are about 30 tall.

Re: tires?
They will be softer so you could assume they should "bite" better.
My Toyo Proxes are some of the better street tires I have tried. They are a true street tire so they dont grip as good as the drag radials.
