My Truck

here are a few pics of my truck. i know the pics are kinda small but i had to take them on my camera phone so until i can get my hands on an actualy digi cam this what i got for now.

i'll have some engine pics up later on this week.

its an 85 chevy shortbed, its got a fresh 400 smallblock - comp cam (272), rebuilt heads (milled, manley valves, double springs, titanium locks and retainers), JE flat tops, torker intake (going to swap to rpm intake this weekend), holley 600cfm carb (going to swap to Demon 650 in a few weeks), hedman longtubes, glasspacks out the back with tips (swapping to dynomax race bullets dumped this weekend), th350 tranny fresh, stock gears and rearend.

it has the one primer'd fender but i'll wait till i have the whole truck painted to take care of that.

body is in great shape, alittle surface rust in front of the rear tires on the bed, no dents or dings really.

interior is in great shape, bench seat has two small tears in it, dash is cracked of course in the normal places. other then that all gauges work however i want to start the autometer guage cluster build in the next month so put in the truck. grant steering wheel.

the tires are missmatched right now, thats what come on the truck when i got it. i will be swapping those out though and either running a 295-50-15 which is whats on the back or going alittle taller and narrower to a 275-60-15. havn't made up my mind on that yet.

and again, i'll get some better pics this weekend of it for sure with a digi cam.

Re: My Truck

Nice project. Those should be standard centers, you can order thru most tire joints. Get ahold of a knowledgeable counter person you have seen working there for years.
