big brake upgrades
whats up guys i was wondering if any of you have done a big brake upgrade to the front of your trucks cpp sells a kit but it already come with spindles and can only be used with those spindles. I want to upgrade the breaks in the truck and get something that looks good behind the wheels too. Any suggestions? If you guys have any pictures of your brake mods i would love to see some of the ideas you guys have had. and also what about rear brake conversions what have you guys come up with.

Re: big brake upgrades
Search 'big brakes' or 13" brakes. There's a couple of threads on the subject.

Re: big brake upgrades
PST (Perfomance Suspension Technology) www.p-s-t.com has big brake kits. As well as Baer, SSBC, and others. All big brake kits are going to require some spindle modification. That is why the CPP kit (as well as most others) comes with spindles that are already modified. You can use your spindles but they will need some cutting to be able to clear the rotors.
What I did was use the Baer DecelaRotors and new Calipers for the front and CPP rear disc conversion kit with the optional drilled and slotted rotors. They match the the front almost perfectly. Then use a caliper paint on all of the calipers. It's a upgrade from stock at about half the cost and looks good. Front: Rear:
