Rear end swap 73 in a 84
any problems swapping the rear end from a 73 to a 84 frame ? thanks

If the truck is a half ton the 12 bolt will bolt in place of your 10 bolt.The u-joint size will not be same, but you can get the joint's with diff. size cap's so you don't have to the yoke's on your drive shaft or rearend. Just remember to measure the width of the joint and cap size on both the yoke's ( i got my last one from Napa)

both trucks are 1/2 ton and I got both driveshafts. thanks for the info

Gchemist has done this. I think he can tell you what part number the adapter u-joint is.
