Gulp. I'm actually going to sell my Suburban.

Hey, guys. I know I haven't posted in a while, but I'll still be around on the boards. I am going to sell the '86, though. I actually bought a brand new 2008 Silverado the Friday before last. It's so new that it rolled off of the assembly line on Aug. 11 and will be here any day now. It was a little over 96 hrs. old when I bought it- cool! It's actually my first brand-new vehicle. At least it's a Chevy!

I'll poke my head in the '73-87 forum every now and then. You do pick up some things when you own one of these for 15 years.

That's wierd. I was just wondering yesterday what happened to you this weekend. I hadn't seen you around in a looong time. I thought "He probably sold the Suburban."

I tried to sell mine last April. I can't afford to drive it to work any more. Luckily, my wife convinced me to keep it anyway. :-)

Re: Gulp. I'm actually going to sell my Suburban.

Photos of the new ride.

Fuel economy really isn't my reason for selling the Suburban. I'll only save a couple hundred bucks a year by replacing it since I've been driving my Jeep most of the time- or WAS. The new Chevy will be the primary driver now. I'm keeping the Jeep and I can't really justify having 3 vehicles- ha! It's just too hard to keep up with 22-year old black paint and little odds and ends, mainly the door bottoms. I'll miss it, but not too much with my new Chevy in the fleet!
