Dual-circuit master cylinder with non-power brakes?
Is there a dual circuit master that will bolt in to my '64? I am going to be using the stock drum brakes and would like to get rid of the single reservoir master. I had the fluid leak out of the rear of my '69 and was sure glad to still have front brakes, I want the same safety in my '64.
Thanks in advance!

Don't worry, we don't have Kragen's around here so I'll give you call sometime this week! Gotta support those that support the board. Plus you're in Texas, right?

Hi guys nubi here,
Pretty much looking to do the same on my 65, but when I go to the local parts store they only show the single master cylinder, should I be asking for different year truck to get the dual master cylinder? |

Smart move!
I am shocked at all the work people put into their trucks, and keep the fruit jar. I like the "old" look of that Kragens M/C.

Re: Dual-circuit master cylinder with non-power brakes?
Sweet thanks for the info, plan on just keepin the original running gear for a while. Local parts store had one in stock for 30.00. I might put together a "how to" article during my installation. I write service manuals for Ford Motor Co. so I should be able to put a pretty clear instruction manual for this update that might help others. This older stuff is kinda new to me but should be pretty easy after my last engine manual for the 2010 F-150 Raptor 6.2L LOL.

Disc/drum, you can use much newer than 74 too. I have used the 80s era one with the plastic reservoirs too.

Re: Dual-circuit master cylinder with non-power brakes?
Here is the one I used for disc/drum. I see this type in many aftermarket kits and is refered to as 'corvette' ms/cyl. I'm not a brake guru so I dont really know, but for info anyway...

Re: Dual-circuit master cylinder with non-power brakes?
Yes its called a Corvette style MC its not an exact replica cause their are no numbers on it. We have them on sale now for $30.00 each. Lowest price in country. They will work for manual or Power by removing the included spacer to adjust your rod len.
