I've got a couple edited versions of these that I'll add to this post later. Hope you guys like the pics and the wheels. I know that Chuckles is proud of em.

Oh....I know some of you have been following the progress on the 54.

A 72 chevy pickup donated a gas pedal to the cause.

It's also starting to look like an engine.

Got the factory columnn tied in to the rack.

Added a bit of paint to the double d shaft.

This vid might seem a bit anti-climatic to some of you, but tomorrow will make six weeks since we drove this car in to the shop. Brian and I have been hitting it 3 hrs a night mon-thurs and whatever time and parts availability will allow us on the weekends. It was kind of a big deal to me to see this car steer again.

A big shout out goes to Brian for all the work and sweat that he's put in to this project. Another big thank you goes out to his and my wife for putting up with us always being holed up in the garage!

So did Chuck get the shoes off your Red n white one and you got new ones or what? I'm gonna miss those rallys on blue.....

Hey some plumbing, electrical and the '54 will be ready to roll again. I bet Christy is antsy now after 6 wks.

We've still got to do the step notch and triangulated four link out back. Also gotta run all the brake lines, air lines and re wire the whole car.

We've also gotta build a new driveshaft tunnel as well as who knows what else.

I think everyone involved is ready to see it come together.

You have a very sharp truck. I like the stance and the tire sidewall height on those wheels. What most folks don't get is that ratio needs to be proportional on our trucks to look good....you get it and it looks great!

steer is 255/50 17 w/ 4" back space
rear is 275/50 17 w/ 5 1/2" back space

around 2 grand for tires and wheels mounted, balanced, lug nuts and shipped to the house. all i had to do was put them on the truck
