Too funny. I am jealous. I was e-mailing the seller last Tuesday AM just as you hit the buy it now. Now that you have it, is it as nice as it looked on Ebay. I thought that it was a steel for that price.

Nice find.

BTW is your truck painted in midori sour green?

Thanks
Marc

Re: My new Blazer

My truck is in for paint and I have been kicking around a couple different green colors. I saw your truck on Gauge mag web site. Very clean. I went with an LT1.

I wondered if you were driving or having it shipped.
Good luck on the drive.

road trips are always an adventure.

We was having it shipped, but the transport company has been jerking us around so we decided to just load up and go get it.

No, its a 4wd that was converted. It has the 2wd front crossmember and 4 linked in the rear with air ride on all 4 corners. We are going to redo everything as soon as we get it home. I bought it for 5,500.

Re: My new Blazer

So now that you have had some time with it, is it worth the $5,500? It sure looked like it to me from the listing. Not seeing pics of the frame made me nervous.

Definitly worth it. A PO did some crappy work on the rockers so I am cutting them off and redoing them. A few little dent here and there, nothing major. Once I fix everything the body will come off the frame and I am going to spray bedliner on the underside and inside of the tub. But in all its a really good deal for 5,500! Hardest part is convincing myself to ditch the top permanantly!!! But its going to happen!

Good to know. I thought it looked like a good deal.
I am sure you will have it whipped into shape in no time.

Best of luck.

Re: My new Blazer

That will frost the local rednecks when they see a slammed Blazer.
I think building one of those has to be right there in my bucket list not that far behind finishing the 48 and building the 2 seat indy style racer (early 30's style) that I am slowly collecting pieces for.

That is going to be a great looking truck that your lady will be proud of when it's done.
