I am in the process of hunting down a 69 to 70 chevy pickup. I was wondering can you convert a two wheel drive frame over to a four wheel drive or do you need to swap out the frame. I know what i want when im done just not sure where to start. Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Re: 2wd to 4wd?
Use the search option--I know this subject has been covered.
You will need hangers for the front, a crossmember for the transfer case, a high hump floor, etc. It would be much easier to find a 4x4. They are still around--I just bought one out of Colorado for $2300. john

Re: 2wd to 4wd?
I used a 2wd frame in my C/K30 with aftermarket parts.
