EFI conversion
thanks to everyone who helped out with input on my issues. I am considering going to tbi or mpi. just wondering if anyone has gone efi and are satisfied. I dont have the patience any longer to get the carb just right, and i only drive it 200 miles a year which is another issue.

Re: EFI conversion
One of the best mods you can do IMO.
You could do, throttle body, tuned port or go aftermarket fuel injection with TBI being the easiest/cheapest. |

Re: EFI conversion
yep, i agree, just want to see if anybody had good or bad experience with certain ones etc. I am leaning more toward an aftermarket turn key kit, or selling my crate motor with 1600 miles on it and getting an efi box motor

Re: EFI conversion
It's all about your budget, sounds healthy from here.
What are you looking to gain? Shear power & performance or basic driveability? A turn key kit will getcha a manual though. (that's a good thing) |

Re: EFI conversion
im all about the budget, i would go yank off a junk motor if I knew others had good results. I already have an 02 sensor welded in one of my collectors, i would also bite the bullet if I sold my motor and swapped with ramjet350 etc

Re: EFI conversion
A ramjet 350 would be and excellent option!
