Keeping water out... grrr
Any ideas on how to seal the gap between the window glass and the outside edge of the door? (...where your arm would rest when riding with the window down)
I am sick of water flowing into the door and out of the rusty door bottom. Gotta fix this before fixing the rust or doing anything nice to the interior at all.... The products and kits don't look like they include a seal for this spot.... just the vertical channels. -Matt

Re: Keeping water out... grrr
Ya know, I am not sure. How do those pieces install? I have seen them, but the curved ends kind threw me off.... I will email those guys and seen how they fit if you're sayin' those are right.
THANK YOU!!!! As dumb as this sounds it has been an issue for a while, just never asked! -Matt

Re: Keeping water out... grrr
Those are correct, but even with new ones installed, water will run down the face of the window glass past these and into the door cavity and out the weep holes or rust holes, if you have them. The doors are designed that way and the window seals should be called anti-rattle strips instead, because they do not seal water out. They do make rolling the windows up and down easier, as well as decrease undesired noise.

Re: Keeping water out... grrr
I see... I am trying to keep the interior dry. The only point where I see moisture entering is these window cracks. I want to avoid any new carpet, upholstry, etc from rotting once installed... any tips or recommendations there?
