factory lockers
My '78 has factory lockers
i'm wondering both ends are locking or just one.

GM stopped putting posi's up front in 73-ish. Rear would be a Govlock...

1973-1978 12 bolts would have a Eaton LSD (clutch type)
I have seen no documentation of any 1973 - 1987 trucks with a front LSD.

that is in general. I have seen some 78's with them, but i think they officially swapped in 1976 from what i can tell.
It basically follows GM's normal change overs, they use them till they are gone.
