Question 5 lug swap question

what would i need to take off a 73 and up truck,to put on my 67 gmc to give it disc brakes.thanks for the help.our local yard is loaded with 73 and up trucks

I would take as much as possible. Un-bolt the a-arms and remove everything. Get the power steering box, and all the steering linkage. Also take the brake booster, master cylinder, purportioning valve and all the brake lines. Good luck!

If you are going to use your a arms the upper ball joint is different you will need to replace it with 73 and up, I think the lower is the same. Unless yours are rebuilt I would just take the a arms off the donor and have rubber bushings. But you will need the pitman the box (not sure if the pitman will bolt to a man box and you might as well go power anyway), idler and the whole crosslink including tie rods, spindles, calipers, hoses, and the steel brake lines because I think the steel lines are located in different places on a drum truck vs a disc truck, oh yeah the master and prop valve would be needed too

saginaw 4 spd many, many pieces

thanks for the help .the previous owner put powersteering but left the drums.so i need the mastercylinder,spindals,replace upper and lower ball joints on the 67 a arms,and idler and the whole crosslink including tie rods.
