Re: the beast has lights!

no, im converting to 12 volt.
i just did it like this until i get all the stuff to do the conversion
i just have it running off a battery charger right now.

i cant decide weather to go with an alternator, or 12-volt generator and voltage regulator. any suggestions?

i kinda want to keep it stock looking under the hood.
anyone running 12V generator and liking it?

Re: the beast has lights!

I had a 63 impala with that generator & regulator and the lights were never bright as they should be and they would dim anytime I turned any accessories on. Hey but these are old truck, I guess thats how they should be.

Me personally, I would switch to an one plug alternator with all new wires
