"Z" ing 62 frame
I am planning to z the frame on my 62 C10. I notice it has a square frame where i am going to cut it. I thought most of them were channel. Since it is already a box, can I just weld gussets in the z and plates on both sides? I plan on a c notch also and it has brace on both sides as well.
Thanks Michael |

Re: "Z" ing 62 frame
'62 was the last year for that style of frame. Yes you should be fine with plating both sides and adding some gussets. Post up some pics....

I was wondering if you can cut the x brace out of the back of the frame? It would give more room for bags. |
