Re: has any-body ever fiberglassed a dash pad
I've thought about doing it to mine. I think the biggest PITA would be drilling out all the little holes for the frone speakers...

Re: has any-body ever fiberglassed a dash pad
that would be a sort of a hassle. the speaker hole's. i have speaker's in my dash know so i would like to keep them there. i never seen a square body style dash done...i'am hopefully going to start mine this weekend...... i have seen a 78 elcomino fiberglassed dash and it was so clean it's got me wanting to attempt mine... it was painted to match the car just the way it looked so smooth it dame near looked wet............

Re: has any-body ever fiberglassed a dash pad
you will need some glass in there as well as resin or it will just crack, is your dash cracked up now?

Re: has any-body ever fiberglassed a dash pad
There is a guy on the 73-87 truck forum here that glassed his dash. Looks good. I think there are pics in the shortbed pics thread. It`s a 84 fleet and his name is dave, can`t remember his screen name.

do a internet search for building fiberglass speaker boxes or speaker pods and it will give you some helpful tips
