Re: 63 longbed lowering tips
Hey! Welcome from Athens Alabama, USA!!! I Don't know a lot, but something you might want to look into if you dont want to spend a lot of money is a set of rear jeep coils for your truck. Replacing the rear coils of your truck with a set of 97-06 TJ (jeep wrangler 6 cyl) will lower the rear from 3-4 inches. They are super cheep as well. for the front a lot of guys on here cut or heat the front springs to get the right ride height. All that said is what I have read on the forums here. I am going to do the jeep coils myself in the next few weeks so i will be able to speak from experience at that point but for now take it for what its worth.. just do a search for jeep coils on the forum and there are multiple threads. The real way to do it if you want to fork out some money is to bag the truck... but for me thats way more than I have planed for this truck. any way im sure a more guys will chime in with more knowledge and you will get a lot of info. so any way welcome aboard! Oh yea and post pics... lots of pics.
