87 Blazer shuts off....
When the truck is driving in a straight direction the truck runs fine, but when a hard left or right turn is made, the truck shuts off. Once the truck is back straight, the truck starts up and takes off fine.
I am guessing that this problem is most likely in the steering column which is tight and not sloppy at all. Do you guys have any insight or possible reasoning for this problem? Thanks,

Re: 87 Blazer shuts off....
Ok when I was reading this I was thing battrey. Try this if you are sitting in one spot and you turn it left to right dose it shut off? If not I would say a back ground or it could be a battrey.

Re: 87 Blazer shuts off....
If the truck is sitting in one spot not moving and the steering wheel is turned all the way to the left or right, then it does still shut off.
Another thing, since this is a tilt wheel column, the truck only does this shutting off thing when the steering wheel is all the way up. When the wheel is down to its lowest position the truck drives and turns fine without shutting off. So I am basically assuming this is in the steering column, any idea on what part it may be? thanks again for all the help.
