73-87 front sway bar on a 60-62 front end?

Has anyone ever bolted up a 73-87 front sway bar to a 60-62 front end with torsion bars? I've got both, and it looks like it'll work fine, but the tie rods are a bit close to the lower a-arms on my 62 than they are on my 89 burb front end (73-91 burbs are same as 73-87 PU's).
Tired of feeling like I;m rocking back and forth in a boat when I hit bumps on the highway!
