Van tilts FS
Still resorting priorities and storage. My how plans change!!
I have 2 van tilts to sell. Wish I had the time, funds and energy to get these rebuilt along with a couple of trucks. 1st one is very clean. Has cruise lever. Other levers have small rust spots which should clean up. Shift indicator broke as usual. Rebuild or use as/is $150 plus Shipping 2nd one is a little rougher but would work great for Circus wagon or one to have rebuilt. Has paint overspray, surface rust on column and small dent on shift bowl that does not affect operation and does not show with steering wheel mounted and the usual shift pointer snapped off. $120 + shipping. There is a board member in CA. that rebuilds these and does an awesome job for very fair price. Personally I would was planning this route with both. See other post for tach dashes coming up.

Re: Van tilts FS
IIRC , the van tilt is longer , and needs to be cut down, and re-welded in the middle of the shaft, or the preferred method is to cut the end and respline it. I believe the Neutral safety switch is also located in a different spot.

Re: Van tilts FS
Another method used I beleive to get these to fit right in is to shorten the intermediate shaft ahead of the steering shaft which is supposed to be quick and easy. The cutting and shortening the steering shaft itself is more work and best done at the time of teardown and restore.
Not sure what yrs of vans these came out of and not sure it matters. Both do not have the key on the column and look exactly like the pickup version. Differences are as mentioned, neutral safety switch needs moved down the shaft shafter arm is shorter than pickup and is prefered by some or easily swaped (one of mine looks to have the pickup arm already) and length has to be dealt with firewall boot is different on pickup The benefit is that these are more available and therefore sell for less money that a pickup column.
