Emissions Equipment
I have searched around a bit and have found a little info on this topic. I have a 1975 GMC Sierra Classic (1/2 ton). When I purchased it it had a 350 engine with no catalytic converters. The only other emissions equipment is a PCV valve. I don't have the original emissions sticker under the hood and I am not sure if it is supposed to have cats or any other emissions junk. Do you guys know what should be on it or where I can find out? Anyone else with 1975 trucks and what equipment do you have? Coal cannister, EGR, etc?
Thanks in advance for the help! |

Re: Emissions Equipment
I have posted a similar question about cats and found out that any truck with a GVW over 6001 lbs was not fitted with cats. My truck is a half ton, but it has the F44 Heavy Duty Chassis option (6200 GVW). I don't have the emissions sticker anymore that was on the air cleaner so I still don't know what other emissions equipment was or may have been on it.
