What airbags for which truck?
I have two trucks that Im bagging and wanted to know what bag to use for them. I already have two sets of bags and they are RE7's and Airlift 2600's. Both trucks are going to lay frame but one truck will be a daily and the other a weekend ride. Im bagging a 86 C10 daily and 53GMC weekend ride.
Is there really a big difference in the bags? Should I just put any bag on either truck cause they are basicly the same? Thanks, Slim

Re: What airbags for which truck?
The same bags in a 2600lb are different in size. The RE7's are 3in compressed and 11.5in inflated. The Dom's are 2.7, and 13in, and they are a huge bag. I love the lift I get with my Dom 2600's. I run them all the way around on my 67.

Re: What airbags for which truck?
Damn! I just thought that the Doms were not inflated all the way. So The RE7 would give me less range and less drop? I should put the RE7's on the 53 then cause I would rather be able to lift the C10 higher cause of the 24's im getting for it. The GMC will probably be on a 17'' whitewall so I will have less height to drop. Hopefully Im being clear!

Re: What airbags for which truck?
Sounds like a good plan. The 24's would need more lift to turn. I have 255/35/20's with 5.1bs on a 20x8.5 wheel. On my truck I can turn at an inch ride height and can air up to like 2in of fenderwell gap. I like the extra 1.5 over Slam bags.

Re: What airbags for which truck?
in my opinion i would sell the re7s and buy another set of dominators. they are one of the best bags on the market at the moment and i have personally had bad experiances with slam bags not holding up aka wearing out faster. this is just my opinion.
