some help
on my 72 blazer i'm remounting my volt regulator and the silver thing that plugs into the bottom " capasitor' not sure were it mounts to be OEM. it only been sitting 12 years . YES i posted this on the blazer site and had no luck thanks mark

The one I had just bolted to the regulator. However, a better recommendation is to ace the whole shootin' match and pick up an internally regulated alternator for about $40. The rewire is simple and will yield YEARS of problem free regulating/charging!

I've considered doing this swap, when you go to the part store what year model do I give them so I get the right alternator?
