installing ORD bushing and 1" body lift

im replacing all body bushing and adding a 1" lift from ORD ontop of my 8" lift springs. im glad this thing hasnt been on the road yet, iv only done the driver side and had to deal only with two bolts, the others wer broken. still had to grind alittle on heads. next is front ORD shackles, then i want to attack my hydro clutch conversion.

heres the boss telling me wat bushing goes where and what bolt. can someone tell me whats the all thread for, it came with everything i got, but i dont know wat its for thanks

On a truck cab the rear cab mounts use all thread. Won't be needed for a K5.

When installing a 1" body lift kit like this, have you or will you have to modify any of the brake lines or the steering linkage to the gear box? It seems that I remember that you would have to if its a 2" or larger kit.

yukon. i ended up using the all thread in the 3rd position right behing the seats, ORD ripped me off a couple of the bigger nuts (i forget wat size) for the bolts in the floor pan and only got two washers that fit them. owell i made it work. i just guessed wat bolt went where as the process want on. my old bushing wer so shot i got almost an 1 3/4 of lift from where it was, nice. thanks for replying, next wkend im doing my clutch.

nitrojunkie no i did not have to do anything to my steering shaft and the brakelines dont matter with a bodylift. was very easy hardest part was figureing out how to raise my body, since i already have an 8" lift it took the combination of a floor jack and a bottle jack and a 4x6 pc. of lumber. thanks for looking dont hesitate to ask any other Qs
