327 main cap bolts
on a 2 bolt main 327, what is the torque on the rear main cap ? i had to replace the rear seal and cant really find it on the internet so if you can help me thanks

7/16 Main Caps (2 bolt) 70 ft-lbs.

Use ARP bolts if possible. I had a stock original Chevy bolt fail on my '68 327 under normal use ( @ 170,000 miles)
