Yes but it will have a body lift when done. Unless you 'Z' the frame. Either way it's quite a bit of work. Why do you want to switch frames?

Re: 64 swb body on mid 80s frame?
i'm looking for a 2wd frame. i've got a mid 70s k10 frame under my 64 right now. i have my jeep to wheel in, and now i want my truck to scream around town in. 33" tires aren't as easy to turn. and i've got a line on a 2wd 85 with a sbc400

Re: 64 swb body on mid 80s frame?
If your current frame is a mid 70's frame it should be the same as the '85 you're looking at.....aside from the 2wd to 4wd differences the frame is the same. So all the cab mounts should already be built. But as I posted yesterday, it's going to sit a bit high. The best frame to get for what you're wanting to do is a '63-'72 C10 frame, but apparently they aren't as easy to find in some parts of the country as they are here.
