FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...but the Chevy is safe!
Working on my 64 today, and my mom noticed a plume of smoke the street over from her house. Her boyfriend (ex fire captain) and I rushed over and were first on the scene. Family members were still in the home, so the mini cooper had to be sacrificed to the heat, but the 65 Chevy C10 which belonged to the family's recently deceased grandfather, is still salvageable thanks to my mom's boyfriend and the local fire dept. Here are some pics!
this one is when we first arrived. the minicoop more pics

That's a great testimonial to a true truck enthusiast! Save the truck to hell with the car!

OMG... that is horrible, but I'm glad to hear that everyone is safe. Do they know what caused it?

Re: FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...but the Chevy is safe!
i thought it looked like a camaro too, but came back later and it looked like a newer malibu....possibly a vw thing in the other garage bay. i lost my phone when we first arrived. i was with my mom's boyfriend and we were opening the gates to get the propane disconnected off of the trailer next to the house, and get everyone safe. someone has my phone because all of a sudden it just goes to voice mail, but oh well.

I think you need to send that picture to the Mini Cooper people.

Re: FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...but the Chevy is safe!
I can see the rage on the mini forums when this picture makes it over there. Could you imagine the comments here if the vehicles were reversed?

The Mini is easy to replace. The Truck not so easy.

Re: FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...but the Chevy is safe!
So could that be called a MINI inferno.
That MINI COOPER was hot to trot. Bet they got a smoking deal for that. Since that was a Mini S. Does that stand for Scorched? Sorry couldn't help my self.
