is there value in the color of the interior?
I was talking today with a friend about his Yukon. He said he is having trouble selling it because people hate his maroon interior. He said people want grey, beige, and then blue. But none for the maroon. He said he's finding it about 1 grand less when compared to the others for sale in other colors. Sad....mileage is low and condition is prime. Is this common?

Re: is there value in the color of the interior?
I would say there is no difference in value. You just have to find someone that likes the color, but that's no different than the exterior color either. I myself would actually be willing to pay a little more for a maroon interior, just because I like it.

I think it has a lot to do with it. I mean I can only speak for myself, but I strongly dislike maroon interior, atleast 99% of the time anyway.
But like much of the time, you just gotta find the right buyer.

Agreed. I'll avoid a red interior. He'll have to find a buyer who digs it.

Re: is there value in the color of the interior?
personally i cant stand that maroon color, plus here in az the darker the interior color the hotter the car gets! so it might have some affect on the resale but not very much i would think!
