Tire size?

I have a set of Rallies (5 lug) I'm putting on my 85 LB their 8 inches wide. What size tires should I put on them to get the corect size as big as possible? I'm looking at Goodrich Long Trail T/A Tour 265/70R15's will those fit?

Re: Tire size?

Yes, those will fit fine. I have 255/70r15's on my 8" rallies and people run up to a 275 on an 8" wheel.

Cheers,

Ed

Re: Tire size?

295s will fit 8" rims I would go for 31 10.50 or lower it and go with a 275/60/15

Re: Tire size?

295's will fit 8" rims. The only drawback is that center of the tire will wear prematurely. Best bet is to get some 10" wheels if you want to run that size tire. However, 275/60's fit 8" wheels perfectly.

Hey TexasFunk what is your lowering setup?
its full custom, one off parts, only achieved with a torch! lol, PO completely melted coils and leaf mounting points, its equal to a 4/6, but its not done right at all!
