Naming the chiefs new truck
Since we are all proud of John and his new ride, we should give him some options for new names for the truck. There should only be one real CHIEF and it is legendary.

Re: Naming the chiefs new truck
I vote to call it Sammy Hagar. Because it's a replacement of the original but still sounds pretty good.

How about "Lt Col Family Heirloom" that way he keeps this one and passes it down to his kids.

Re: Naming the chiefs new truck
the suggestions are great, I have always found they name themselves. Each has it's own history and somewhat personality, gotta get to know it first. I've had my share that should have just been named s**thead. always breaking and even the easiest of repairs turn into a nightmare. I think my wifes nova should be named jealousy, every time I spend money on the truck or another car it freaks out and starts wanting attention.

Re: Naming the chiefs new truck
what the? this forum is going out of control. who cares what he names his truck? seriously. i understand john's probably a cool guy, but seriously? theres almost as many threads on here about him and the "cheif" as informational threads.. and john, you as the moderator need to put this junk in general or off topic discussion or somethin.

Yeah man, I tell you what, man. That dang ol' Internet, man. You just go on there and point and click. Talk about W-W-dot-W-Chevy-dot-com. An' lotsa Chevy Trucks on there, man. Click. Click. Click. Click. Click. It's real easy, man!
Ha ha! Well we gotta see what plans John has for his new Chemmy, and we can go from there. That Ole' 63 would look pretty good with a set of wide fat hides on the back, and skinnies on the front! Big block with a monster huffer puffing and huffing under the hood like that 63 chevy fleetside pro street on Youtube! Or he can go NOSTALGIA. Led Slead. Lowered, white walls, black night hub caps, Flat black w/ old school phat 50's style candy flames. Lake pipes, peep mirrors, 327 with 8x2 Stromberg setup, etc. . . . http://www.gasalleystreetrods.com/ms8x2.html http://www.harotoy.com/hey/JadaMercu...e/Dsc01615.jpg Oh yea. . . . Actually, the threads on here are regarding not "me" but a truck. The "Chief", ooops I mean the black-primer truck with the red wheels, is working its way down the line. I posted some threads regarding the sale, the find, the score, and the pressure washing of the new truck...Big Deal ?!?! My threads follow the rules, and are related to that of 60-66 trucks. Now, you may very well do the same, and post as freely as you would like. And, as a moderater, I will be keeping an eye on you...

Re: Naming the chiefs new truck
Pay him no mind he's just mad because he's not getting any spot light lol.
I would call the truck "lucky" "lucky" for getting the money out of "the black primer truck with red wheels" lol, that you didnt want to sell but did to put your family in a better spot. "lucky" for finding a new one so quick and at a great price and still pay off some bills. "lucky" that you know how and what to do to build her bigger and better this time. |
