I noticed this truck in the parking lot at work today
I was gonna stop the guy before he went into the store to talk to him about his truck but he was on the phone the whole time. Anyway, I went to take a closer look after the owner went into the store and noticed this truck has many, many, mods done to it. All suttle but all there. I believe it sit on an earlier frame, and if you look close you can see the driverside dash guage panal is 80's era but rest of dash is correct. There's much more but I only had time enough to snap just a few pics as I was only on break. I've seen this truck around town so I'm sure I'll run into the guy again sometime.

The dash is interesting. It would be cool to get him on here with a build thread.

that is pretty neat. Looks like it is actually used as a work truck too. |

Does anyone know where to get a fuel filler door like that? I have been wanting to get rid of the one in my bed.

eeek....i can't say that i like the dash, rear bumper, or the lights atop the cab, but as long as the guy driving it likes it then it's . the toolbox isn't a weatherguard, looks like a delta? i've got a weatherguard on mine too, no mods factory made.

Re: I noticed this truck in the parking lot at work today
now i know what im gonna do with my dash!! i really like that. i sure would like to see how it blends to the stock dash from the passenger side. the whole truck looks really cool but the dash really stands out. thanks very much for posting this up.

I thought it looked good on there too. First thing to catch my eye as it drove past me in the lot. Quote:

I'm not sure how the dash was made to fit. I would like to find out just because. But I don't think I'd do it to my own truck. I like the look of my 66 dash. Just wish I had my custom gauges in it now.

originalJD - if you happen to see the truck again, try to get the make and model number of that tool box.
