need info on auto column shifter link.
I,m changing from standard to auto column shift,I have the column and shifter rod but no spring that goes in the frame by the tranny.Is it just a spring ,I looked at the wrecker but saw many styles.The truck is a 80 short box,was a six with a 3 on the tree,now a 350 -350,

Theres also a nylon bushing that the spring holds pressure on to keep the rod centerd in the frame

A friend of mine said you should be able to buy the nylon bushing and spring from a transmission shop. The shop he use to work for sold them all the time...

You will also need the bracket that the nylon bushing sits in, that bolts to the frame

I found the bracket and the piece that goes from there to the tranny, that piece you may have to modify for your truck

Yea what 72 custom camper said it's totally different the bracket that he will need goes inline with the shifter on the frame, and it boltes to the inside of the frame.
