temp gauge
i am trying to hook up a factory temprature gauge. right now i have an after market gauge that shows the temp in degree's. my question is this, what do i need to do to change it over ? i know i need to run a wire to the gauge but what do i put into the block to send the signal?

Stock temperature sending unit. It will have a single flat pole sticking out of it. The wire will run up to the stock gauge or idiot light.

i am starting to see my problem now, someone has cut the wire off going to the stock sensor.( along with a few others) i guess it's time for a new wiring harness.
