Bring the nose down, for sure. Maybe with some C5 parts

Re: What would you do to this truck?
Honestly...being as how it's such a clean example of that year and option package, I'd probably either put some 20" Wheel Vintiques 90 series Rally wheels on it or Cragar S/S. I think American Racing Torque Thrust grey centers would look great if not for the hassle or Vintage Wheel Works V45's if...IF they came in 20's. If you could find a wheel to replicate the truck rallys and put the center cap on it, that could also be an option. MY taste tell me when I look at this particular truck a grey centered classic wheel but a bit modern on the size just to give it the updated look. Like I said before the exterior is a clean example of that package and one like this I'd keep it to wheels and a drop and be done. If it didn't have all the exterior trim and be in such excellent looking conidition I might go a different route otherwise it's an easy call for me.

Re: What would you do to this truck?
Different wheels, 2-4" from the front of the bed would do a disappearing act, section the rear bumper so it matches the rocker panel, and a big stereo (honestly, who didn't see that last part comin'?)

Re: What would you do to this truck?
Rolling "showcase" for new Porterbuilt products! (the mild version)
As in, a-arms, trans crossmember, trailing arm crossmember, tubular trailing arms, and a cool set of 20's. Billet Specialties (grey centered) Bonnevilles would be my choice.

Re: What would you do to this truck?
Bagged and either the MB oldschool, Torque thrust, or cragars In a 20 with a matte gray finish.
Take and raise the bed floor up and cover a notch. Thats it. Last edited by Naterman35; 08-20-2009 at 08:37 AM. |

Re: What would you do to this truck?
I would put it as low as it would go with out cutting the bed. Add a set of 22's and drive the snot out of it.

Re: What would you do to this truck?
I would shave everything off, fill the marker lights in the bumper and tuck them in closer to the body, put it on the ground with some 22's and probably do a two-tone paint scheme. Those B.A.D Sandoval wheels that rustSpot is running would look awesome on here too.

Re: What would you do to this truck?
Or go another route. Be different, DONK IT! Put some 32s on it, the fake Buick port holes on the fenders, put the "32" decals on it to let people know its got 32's. and theme it out with Cheetos logos all over the paint job. Install tvs everywhere. 2 in the front bumper, 2 in each visor, 1-30 in plasma hanging from the headliner, and a couple in the gate so the people behind you can watch also. Oh and dont forget the row of marine 6x9s under both bumpers so everyone in the hood can jam with ya!

Re: What would you do to this truck?
I'm guessing it will at the very least get an altitude adjustment, this is in the suspension forum....
and you happen to be a very talented chassis/suspension fabricator, so I'm guessing like others have guessed. a showcase for new PB products?

Re: What would you do to this truck?
Lots of good ideas! Definitely a beautiful truck as it sits.
I am sure we all know what's coming.... Pulling the motor/trans today (It's easier to work in there without a motor in the way).
